Princeton University study has shown that after extensive research, calories from high-fructose corn syrup cause significantly more weight gain and obesity than calories from sugar (or any other source). For example, if two people were to consume an equal 500 calories from high-fructose corn syrup and sugar, the person who consumed the high-fructose corn syrup would gain significantly more weight in the form of stored fat.
