As a consumer, many times we are sold products that are unauthentic and/or carry little to real advertised technical value. It’s easy to sell someone a product, but it’s difficult to cultivate loyalty from that consumer. That’s because business seek only the short-term value in a consumer and ignore the long-term implications. Business that I consult with commonly make this mistake. Here are a couple of tips to build your business:

  1. Don’t sell someone a product, create an experience with them through the human condition.
  2. Don’t provide a service, deliver authentic and personal human interaction
  3. Don’t market your product development, cater to consumer demand
  4. Don’t be rigid in your structure, be organic with grown and change
