  1. Reduce your material desires. Get rid of items you don’t need.
  2. Acknowledge that everyone can improve (even yourself) so you don’t have to be doing your best all the time. Of course, this doesn’t mean that you should stop trying, but you shouldn’t be killing yourself by reaching your limits to accomplish a task.
  3. Release the fear of receiving disapproval from others and from yourself.
  4. Feel contentment with what have done thus far. You have been able to live your life to this point so you shouldn’t worry so much for your future.
  5. Forgive yourself from your past mistakes. Acknowledge that everyone makes mistakes and you’ve grown from those mistakes.
