Finding Peace of Mind with 5 Steps

  1. Take 5 deep breaths. With each breath, count to 5 very slowly. Release.
  2. Close your eyes and imagine the waves of the ocean colliding into the sand.
  3. Imagine the wind. Feel the wind brush against your body and hair.
  4. Hold onto someone. If you have a significant other, hold them in your arms for 10 seconds.
  5. If you’re in a private area, scream at the top of your lungs into a pillow. Listen to the muffled scream.
